Bob’s Bagels

Bob’s Bagels

We do small runs of custom caps for people every once in a while, and it’s really fun helping somebody realize a vision. Better yet when we can support another small business in the process. Here’s a set of caps we did for Bob’s Bagels in Port Townsend, WA. As we know, any cyclist worthy of the name also enjoys beer and pastries, so bagels bookend those things deliciously. We think they turned out great, and suddenly crave bagels…

Backyard Blam

Backyard Blam

Coming at you from bike-crazy Portland on September 13th is Backyard Blam. The event looks to be awesome, with OpenSprints, a pump track, and, as the flyer says, yelling. I’m no mathematician, but that looks to me like the equation for fun times. Check it out!

Lord of Grififth

The alleycats keep rolling all summer and we’re doing our best to keep their heads covered. Next up is Lord of Griffith, coming to a Los Angeles near you on September 19th at 2pm, at the 1st parking lot in griffith park after the ferndale entrance. 5 bucks. Fixed only, and the word is that there will be some climbing involved, so get your gearing right.

Prizes for 1st up the mountain
Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and DFL.

The afterparty sounds rad as well. Do it.

Dispatch 101

We recently did another custom cap for our buddy Julio at Dispatch 101. A lot of people are feeling the crossover love between cycling and their favorite sports teams, and he’s definitely leading the charge.

KILL THE SQUARES alleycat

We’ve been spreading a lot of alleycat love this summer, and next up is Savannah, Georgia on August 29th. We just sent Sean a little care package to throw into the prize list. Here’s a quick description of the race:

KILL THE SQUARES alleycat is going to be a 2 person team alleycat consisting of a sprinter and a runner(on a bike dummy). Bring a bag, a lock, and a partner. Its gonna be $10 but all of the money goes to the winners, ie 1st, 1st Girl, 1st outta town, and maybe 2nd. CASH MONEY! There will most likely be an after party with tricks, skids, and general fucking around, and maybe a BBQ. Pick-up polo games on Sunday on Hutchinson Island. Tell everyone you know!

Check it out on Facebook.
