Congnition Caps your source for handmand bicycling and cycling caps/hats, clothes, messenger gear, and other bike lifestyle items

The Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition recently commissioned a few 49ers caps which will be sold at a silent auction as a part of their annual fundraiser.

Caps were signed by the following players and are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity:

These will make pretty neat keepsakes for some lucky cycling football fans out there! We wish the SVBC the best of luck in their fundraiser and are happy to have been a part of it.

Here’s a worthy cause we’re happy to support. If you’re in the Bakersfield area in November, check it out and help collect some food!

From the Queer Bike Gang in Minneapolis, check out Cirque du SoGay. This is going to be a great event. From the gang themselves:

First we want to reach out to new cyclists and those who hardly ever get on bikes, and get them more excited about biking.  Second, we want to build awareness of Queer issues, and particularly build tolerance of LGBTQ people in a culture that can often be pretty macho.  Our “race” is for all cycling levels, and will include a beginner category, a hard-core racer category, and a Queer/bike knowledge category.

Also look for a “hottest cycling outfit” contest. Sounds pretty great to me.
