There’s something really satisfying about getting rid of some of the junk that accumulates around your living space. You know how it is. Sometimes you have to purge the old to make room for the new and keep things fresh. Today we brought an old couch out to the curb, and it opens up a whole new world of possibilities as far as our front porch. It’ll make an awesome summer sleeping area, with the breeze flowing through the windows, bringing us scents of rainfall and blooming flowers as it lulls us to sleep. Maybe it’ll also be much nicer for Colin than the couch when he passes out here occasionally. I wouldn’t mind organizing our books into a decent bookshelf out there, too. A chair would be nice. Maybe I’ll make myself a mint julep to sip on as I read a book out there, but as I’m making it I’ll discover I don’t really know how to make a mint julep, and why the hell would I want to ruin good bourbon by mixing it with other stuff.
Yeah. None of that has anything to do with cycling caps.
